About Binol Biolubricants

Binol Biolubricants is a business sector within AAK group and is marketing, developing and producing environmentally acceptable lubricants. The business started already 1975 when the first products for the metal working industry was launched.

The business sector is represented by the two companies Binol AB and Binol BioSafe Oy, located in Karlshamn/Sweden and Raisio/Finland respectively.

In order to additionally secure the standards of the deliveries in Finland, the operations have been placed to a new logistic centre in Raisio from the beginning of 2010.

Binol Biolubricants is working mainly with products for;
-  Metal Working Industry
-  Forestry- & Construction Industry
-  Sawmill Industry
-  Miscuellias Areas (products for cooling- and heating transfer applications,
   greases for lubrication of studs and ball runners, processing oils and for
   agricultural purposes)

We are working with our own brands - Binol and BioSafe - in Scandinavia and together with external partners with strong brands and good distribution systems on other markets worldwide.

Business concept
The business concept of Binol Biolubricants is to develop, manufacture and market vegetable-based lubricants. These activities shall always be carried out in an environmentally responsible manner and with a focus on the metalworking, forestry and construction industries.

R&D
Binol Biolubricants conducts independent research and development in the segment "environmentally responsible technical oils".

The unique R&D expertise is an important asset for all business projects and a strong factor behind the success of the company.

Approximately 25% of the resources are allocated to R&D operations.

Production
The production within Binol Biolubricants is based on a broad spectrum of biologically renewable raw material transformed to a high class ready made products.
