As Customer Innovation Manager and Development Lead in Belgium, Patrick Bieseman sets the priorities and helps our customers in the most efficient way. It’s a truly creative work where issues concerning health, quality, costs, and sustainability are always important.
Patrick is the Chemical Process Engineer who joined AAK in July 2014 and now acts as a gatekeeper for the work in the margarine pilot plant and bakery lab. Here he sets the right priorities and finds a balance when it comes to helping AAK’s customers in the most efficient way.
“The customer is always at the center, regardless if we are talking about quality or service,” Patrick says.
He works closely together with customers in projects ranging from creating liquid margarines based on soft oils to so called floating warehouses, an innovative logistics solution. He also runs an internal palm oil correction system at AAK. Patrick feels that working with sustainability is meaningful and he often helps customers to find a solution where all palm oil is sustainable.
