Where were you a trainee?
I was a commercial trainee in Business Development and Marketing at the head office, in Malmö, Sweden.

What made you apply for a role with AAK?
My interest in the food industry and AAK’s global footprint. The company's international culture and the mindset of growing together ethically, convinced me that this could be a great place to work.

What does a typical day at AAK look like?
Every day is different at AAK and it feels great! A key part of my trainee role was to work with our AAK strategic company program called The AAK Way where I was accountable for forecasting, tracking and reporting on the program KPIs. I was also accountable for the internal communications about the program to all our colleagues globally.

What was your biggest professional challenge?
The transition from being a student to a professional.

What would be your best advice to trainees looking for a good start to their careers?
Be curious and dare to explore new paths; this is how you learn, this is how you grow.

What are your interests?
Various activities which bring me a positive energy/mood such as sports, dancing and traveling.

What is the coolest thing you have done?
Swimming in a cave on Ko Mook island, Thailand without being an experienced swimmer.

What do you always carry with you – and why?
A picture of my family and my phone, to stay connected and to easily be reached, and reach people.
