Climate change affects how raw materials are grown, how products are produced and how supply chains operate. For AAK, this means addressing emissions across the full value chain while supporting our customers in their transition

Working across operations, value chains and solutions

Our approach combines improvements in our own operations with long-term engagement across our value chains.

This includes reducing emissions in production, working with suppliers to address high-impact areas, and developing plant-based solutions that reduce reliance on animal-based and fossil-based ingredients.

A shared responsibility
A large share of emissions sits outside our direct operations. Progress therefore depends on collaboration across suppliers, partners and industry initiatives.

Some of the most complex challenges are linked to agriculture and sourcing. Addressing these requires stronger data, new approaches and long-term engagement across the value chain.
